Removes extra skin of the upper eyelids or bags under the eyes.

Overview

What it is

Extra skin on the upper eyelids can make the eyes look tired and, in some cases, limit the field of vision. Under the eyes, fat can push forward and form bags. Blepharoplasty corrects one or both.

How it is done

For the upper eyelids, the incision follows the natural crease. For the lower eyelids, it is placed just under the lashes or inside the eyelid. Extra skin and fat are removed or repositioned.

Who it is for

  • People with extra skin on the upper eyelids
  • People with bags under the eyes
  • People without active eye disease
